Your opinion just got the spotlight
Until now, the rating you gave in your history stayed hidden on your profile. Starting today, it becomes a public review that shows up directly on the title's page — alongside a space to write what you thought.
What's new on the details page
Right after the cast (and before similar titles), the new Reviews section brings:
- Your review, front and center: give a rating from 1 to 5 stars and write a comment. Clicking the same rating again removes your review.
- Opinions from the Flixie community: 10 reviews per page, with navigation to see more.
- Opinions from the global community: we pull in reviews from the international movie and show community, with a source tag so you can compare perspectives.
- Read more: long comments are collapsed to 4 lines and expand with a click.
Your history rating became a review
If you already rated titles when marking them as watched, those ratings were automatically migrated to the new system. You don't need to rate twice: the rating you record when finishing a title is the same one that appears publicly on its page.
Trust and privacy
Every review only shows the author's public nickname and avatar. You can edit or delete yours at any time — deleting asks for confirmation to avoid accidental clicks.
What's next
We're watching how the community uses this space to plan improvements like: likes on reviews, filters by rating, and highlighting helpful reviews. If you have a suggestion, send it through the Roadmap — that's how this feature came to be. 🎬
