The Community Roadmap works
Just a few weeks after we launched the public Roadmap, two suggestions organically climbed the vote rankings — and both had something in common: small bits of friction that got in the way of feeling progress while tracking shows. They've both already moved to Completed status.
1. The "mark season complete" button now truly responds
Before, clicking Mark Season Complete would just make the button disappear from the flow — leaving you unsure whether the click had registered. Now:
- As soon as you click, the button switches to Flixie's colors (purple/pink) with a subtle icon animation.
- The text changes to "Season Complete ✓", showing the new state without depending on any screen refresh.
- If you reload the page, the button stays in the complete state — because the season is already marked.
A small detail, a big difference: you know right away that the click counted.
2. A celebration for finishing an entire show
Finishing a long show deserves more than a silent checkmark. Now, when you mark the last pending episode:
- A card in Flixie's colors appears in the center of the screen with the text "You finished [Show Name]!", complete with fireworks and a party icon.
- The animation is subtle and disappears on its own — no blocking window, nothing over the top.
- The card only appears on the transition from "almost there" to "100%" — rewatching an already finished show won't trigger it again (unless you start a new rewatch round).
How to vote on new ideas
Every improvement here came from suggestions sent in by users. If you have an idea — a missing filter, an integration you'd like to see, a visual change — head to the Community Roadmap (link in the footer, under "Suggest a Feature") and vote. The most requested ones become real priorities in the next batch.
Thanks to whoever suggested these two — we're still listening.
