A half-year focused on you
Over the past few months, we listened to hundreds of users and prioritized three areas that came up in nearly every conversation: knowing when a new episode drops, discovering what to watch next, and having a real voice in upcoming features.
New episode notifications
Now, whenever a show on your list has a new episode, Flixie lets you know — through the bell at the top of the site, browser alerts, and email. Everything respects your country's time zone (set in your profile), so you'll never get an "available" alert before it's actually live locally.
You control each channel individually in the Notifications tab within your profile.
"Because you watched X" recommendations
The home screen now has personalized rows. We pick titles from your history and your list and match them with similar suggestions — but we filter out anything you've already watched, so you'll never get the same movie suggested twice.
Public Roadmap
Every good idea deserves a place. We built a Community Roadmap page where any signed-in user can submit suggestions and vote on existing ideas. If something makes sense, it climbs fast — and you can follow its status: under review, in development, or completed.
What's next
We're working on reviews, a social layer, and a light mode. Keep an eye on this blog — we'll post updates whenever a big feature comes out of the oven.
