Alisher Morgenshtern

Professional Trajectory

Alisher Morgenshtern (born Alisher Valeyev, 17 February 1998, Ufa) is a Russian-Israeli rapper, singer-songwriter, and producer. He rose to prominence in 2017 through his YouTube channel with the #EasyRap series and parodies of popular artists (including Eldzhey, Face, and others), which built a large following, then switched to original music in 2018 with the EP Hate Me. Breakthrough hits like “Cadillac” (with Eldzhey) and the record-breaking 2020 album Legendary Dust made him one of Russia’s biggest streaming stars. Known for flashy style and controversy, he later left Russia, settled abroad, converted to Judaism in 2026 (taking the name Israel Yehuda Morgenshtern), and continued releasing music, including the rock-influenced 2025 EP Alisher.
