経歴

Dārta Daneviča (born Inese Daneviča, 8 July 1988, Jēkabpils, Latvia) is a Latvian stage, film, and television actress. Her parents are both doctors — her father Jānis Danevičs is a surgeon and her mother Zita Daneviča a neurologist. She initially studied law at the University of Latvia before switching to acting at the Latvian Academy of Culture, graduating in 2011. She has been a member of the Dailes Theatre since 2012, where she performed dozens of roles before leaving the company's staff in early 2025 (while continuing to collaborate). She won the "Spēlmaņu nakts" award for Best Actress (2022/2023) for the monodrama Boys Aren't Girls (after Dennis Kelly). She has a son, born in March 2021, with ex-partner Artuss Kaimiņš. Her most notable screen roles include Dobeshenko's Girl in The Immortal (2019) (Marco D'Amore, Salvatore D'Onofrio), Alexandra in the Indo-Latvian sci-fi thriller Manny (2020) (Sonal Sehgal, Jurijs Djakonovs), Kate in Fear No One (2021–22) (Kaspars Dumburs), and Sofia in The Gates of Riga (2022) (Edgars Ozolins, Ivars Kalnins). Her more recent work includes A Matter of Taste (2025) and Perfect Strangers (2026).
