**Prashanth Siddi** is an Indian actor who predominantly works in Kannada cinema. Known for his natural acting abilities, distinct screen presence, and excellent comic timing, he holds the unique distinction of being one of the most prominent mainstream actors in Sandalwood hailing from the Siddi community (an ethnic group of African descent settled in parts of Karnataka). Coming from a humble background, Prashanth discovered his passion for acting through theater. He was scouted and guided by renowned theater personality Chidambar Rao Jambe, which led him to train at the prestigious Ninasam theatre institute in Heggodu. His rigorous theatrical background laid a strong foundation for his expressive performances and flawless Kannada diction, which helped him deeply connect with local audiences and filmmakers.
