Harry Bauer

경력

Harry Bauer portrayed the "Hunter" in the 1973 horror film Warlock Moon, a brief but memorable supporting role as a local woodsman who encounters the protagonists at the abandoned Soda Springs Spa and shares eerie backstory about the site's cannibalistic history before meeting a gruesome end at the hands of the film's ax-wielding antagonist. Like his co-star Edna MacAfee, Bauer was a non-professional or semi-professional performer drawn from the Bay Area's community theater scene to add authenticity to the low-budget production, which was filmed in Northern California locations including the ghost town of Rhyolite and the Napa Valley. His performance is often noted in fan reviews for its folksy, ominous delivery, fitting the film's blend of ghost story and occult thriller elements. Prior to acting, he was deeply embedded in Vallejo's civic life, including involvement with the Mira Little Theater Guild alongside his wife, which likely served as his entry into on-camera work. He was a retired member of the Screen Actors Guild.
