**Ramesh Pandit** is an Indian actor who works primarily in Kannada cinema and television, along with appearances in Telugu and Tamil films. Known for his commanding screen presence, grounded dialogue delivery, and versatility, he has established himself as a reliable character artist and antagonist across mainstream commercial and parallel cinema. Hailing from a strong theatre background, Pandit stepped into the film industry in the late 1990s. He initially gained attention playing gritty supporting roles, rustic village figures, corrupt officials, and police characters. Over the decades, he has built an extensive filmography spanning dozens of feature projects. Some of his prominent film appearances include the biographical drama *Ingale Marga* (2014), the action thriller *Badmaash* (2016), the horror film *Naani* (2016), T. N. Nagesh's historical drama *Raama Dhanya* (2018), and the period action feature *Bicchugatthi: Chapter 1* (2020).
